Become a CAO Member

Cambodia Association of Orthodontists (CAO) is the only official organization representing and supporting Cambodian Orthodontist specialists, Post-graduate Orthodontics Masters students, Dentists interested in Orthodontics, and Dental students dreaming of becoming Orthodontists.

"CAO" is also the national affiliate of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) and an associate member of the Asian Pacific Orthodontic Society (APOS). CAO is always working towards improving the standards of Orthodontic care in Cambodia.

To achieve uniformity of orthodontic care and reach, CAO is opening its membership to:
1. Permanent Membership: Orthodontics specialists (with a 3 years Masters degree)
2. Student Membership (Ortho/GP): Students (Enrolled in a postgraduate 3-year Masters program and also undergraduate dental students)
3. General Membership: General Dentists interested in Orthodontics

# CAO Permanent Members (Orthodontists) will be able to benefit from the following:
1. Special discounted CAO conference and webinar registration fees.
2. CAO Permanent Member (CAO_PMOrtho) ID Number.
3. Chance to be a WFO Fellow (after evaluation of educational credentials, license, and cases by the CAO Board).
4. Represent Cambodia as a CAO Member in conferences abroad.
5. Discounts for APOS & WFO conferences.
6. Access a huge library of WFO online lectures, webinars, and research journal JWFO.
7. Voting rights to stand for CAO Board official positions.
8. Access to CAO Board members for Career development consultations.
9. Enlisted on the CAO Website as a CAO registered specialist Orthodontist openly available for search by the Cambodian public.

# CAO Student Members (Ortho-MS) will be able to benefit from the following:
1. Special discounted CAO student fee for conference and webinar registrations.
2. CAO Student Member (CAO_StuMS) ID Number.
3. Chance to be a WFO Student Member (after evaluating educational and license credentials by the CAO Board).
4. Represent Cambodia as a CAO Student Member in conferences abroad.
5. Discounts for APOS & WFO conferences at student rate.
6. Access a huge library of WFO online lectures, webinars, and research journal JWFO.
7. Access to CAO Board members for Career development consultations.

# CAO Student Members (DDS) will be able to benefit from the following:
1. Discounted conference and webinar fees.
2. CAO Student Member (CAO-StuDDS) ID Number.
3. Attend international conferences as a student member of CAO.
4. Take part in various CAO activities.

# CAO General Members (GP) will be able to benefit from the following:
1. Discounted conference and webinar fees.
2. CAO General Member (CAO-GpDDS) ID Number.
3. Attend international conferences as a member of CAO.
4. Take part in various CAO activities.

For those dentists holding the appropriate qualifications, please choose the respective category of registration with the CAO. Please download the form attached here, print it, fill it out, and submit it to the CAO Secretariat by email (secretariat@caokh.org)

The candidates will be contacted for the required documents for further verification before payment of the membership fee.
