The CAO February 2024 Webinar was successfully conducted with 106 online registered participants! Dr. Somchai Satravaha (Thailand), Dr. Mohammad Zeinnalddin (Oman), and Dr. Navdeep Bhusri (Cambodia) shared their knowledge about cleft orthodontics care with doctors in Cambodia.

Respected CAO members, Dr. Mom Sovannrithy, Dr. Sythan Yin, Dr. Kak Tola, Dr. Sochenda Seng, and Dr. Mok Chakrya were also in attendance. This webinar was supported by the Dental Council of Cambodia, and 3 CPD Points were awarded to the participants.
The CAO conducted a 1-day scientific orthodontic conference on theme “Towards the excellence in Orthodontic Treatment” on the 25th of August at Phnom Penh Hotel. Dr. Mom Sovannrithy (Cambodia), Dr. Yin Sythan, Dr. Ling Chern Chern (Malaysia), Dr. Mey Phoung (Cambodia), and Dr. Kak Tola (Cambodia) gave educative lectures enhancing the knowledge of Cambodian orthodontists/dentists on various Orthodontic topics. This conference was supported by the Dental Council of Cambodia, and 5 CPD Points were awarded to the participants.
The CAO conducted a 1-day online scientific orthodontic conference through the Zoom platform on the theme “Interdisciplinary Orthodontics” on the 23rd of June. Dr. Mom Sovannrithy (Cambodia), Dr. Yin Sythan, Dr. Ling Chern Chern (Malaysia), Dr. Eric Liou (Taiwan), Dr. Ling Chern Chern (Malaysia), Dr. Tania Hetz (New Zealand), Dr. Phan Sandeth (Cambodia), and Dr. Lim Lina (Cambodia) gave their informative online lectures on various important Orthodontic topics. This online conference was supported by the Dental Council of Cambodia, and 5 CPD Points were awarded to the participants.
The CAO conducted a half-day online scientific orthodontic seminar through the Zoom platform on the theme “Simple and Success” on the 15th of February. Dr. Yin Sythan (Cambodia), Dr. Lo Bunnarith (Cambodia), and Dr. Navdeep Bhusri (Cambodia/India) shared their knowledge of simple and successful clinical management of orthodontic cases. This online conference was supported by the Dental Council of Cambodia, and 3 CPD Points were awarded to the participants.
The CAO conducted a 1-day online annual webinar scientific orthodontic conference through the on the theme “Review Orthodontic Skill During Covid-19 Pandemic” on the 30th of September. Dr. Mom Sovannrithy (Cambodia), Dr. Yin Sythan (Cambodia), Dr. Ling Chern Chern (Malaysia), Dr. Ling Chern Chern (Malaysia), Dr. Lo Bunnarith (Cambodia), Dr. Mey Phoung (Cambodia), and Dr. Kak Tola (Cambodia) gave their informative online lectures on various important Orthodontic topics updating doctors skills remotely during the covid pandemic lockdown. This online conference was supported by the Dental Council of Cambodia, and 5 CPD Points were awarded to the participants.
The CAO conducted a 1-day scientific orthodontic conference on the 27th of May 2019 at Phnom Penh Hotel. Dr. Yin Sythan (Cambodia), and Dr. John Flutter (UK) gave educative lectures in Digital Orthodontics and Myofunctional treatment respectively.
The CAO conducted its Annual Conference for 2017 on 6th of July at the Phnom Penh Hotel. National speakers Dr. Yin Sythan (Cambodia), Dr. Phan Sandeth (Cambodia), and International speakers Dr. Ling Chern Chern (Malaysia), Dr. Rishma Shah (USA), Dr. Trevor Hodge (UK) and Dr. Glen A. Karunanayake (UK) gave their excellent lectures on various important Orthodontic topics.
The CAO conducted a 1-day orthodontic lecture on the 26th of March 2017 at Tonle Bassac 2. Very informative lectures were delivered by Dr. Kak Tola (Cambodia), and Dr. Track Samoeun (Cambodia) on the management of Class III malocclusions.
The Cambodia Association of Orthodontists (CAO) conducted its 1st Annual Orthodontic Conference and Exhibition on 29th December 2016 at the Cambodiana Hotel. Dr. Mom Sovannrithy (Cambodia), Dr. Mey Phoung (Cambodia), Dr. Yin Sythan (Cambodia), Dr. Ly Thin (Cambodia), and Dr. Chang Yu-Jen (Taiwan) delivered their excellent lectures on various Orthodontic topics.
